Babushka and Dyedushka
Pasha's grandparents from Russia traveled all this way to visit him for Christmas this year.

Out for a walk
On Christmas Day afternoon it began snowing! It's a good thing Baba and Dyeda brought Pasha a new winter hat and some russian baby booties.
Even in the house, Baba keeps Pasha bundled up, worried that he might be cold.
Pasha checks out the rocking giraffe that Santa brought him.
Kamikaze remembers getting all the attention from Baba and Dyeda last time they visited, and has no qualms about coming between Pasha and his Baba.
This is how Kamikaze likes it!

Thanksgiving fun
What a cute little monkey with striped legs!!

We headed up to the mountains the day after thanksgiving and it was really cold. Pasha had to wear two hats and mittens to stay warm.

Mmmm yummy fingers!!

Don't be alarmed, but something went terribly wrong with this swaddle. A few minutes after leaving Pasha in his crib, I heard him cry out. I went to check on him and this is what I found:
Between the rim of his hat and the top edge of the blanket I could see one eyeball peering up at me. (since he wasn't crying I left him there long enough to grab the camera) Apparently he wasn't swaddled very well and in his attempt to wriggle his arms out, had slid the whole blanket up over his head. He wasn't crying when I got there because, despite his bottom half being exposed, he was happily sucking on his fingers.

The Great Giraffe Heist
Pumpkin Pants Pasha
Well, we all knew Pasha was a pumpkinhead.....
But for Halloween he was a pumpkin-butt too! Happy Halloween from Pumpkin Pants Pasha, hanging out here with Aunt Sandy.
And how cute is this....
This is the kind of image that makes all the sleep deprivation worthwhile. Almost. ;)

Baths, bottles and books, oh my!
Pasha's first bath:

He did pretty well with the bath, crying a little at first but then settling into a quiet, but uncertain expression.
Also, Dad gave Pasha his first bottle of pumped breastmilk. He didn't seem to notice much difference and happily sucked away.

In the evenings Dad and Pasha hang out in the kitchen reading. Igor would sit down but when he does Pasha wakes up and gets fussy and squirmy...so he stands. After about 20 minutes Pasha is usually asleep enough that Igor can sit down. Usually. ;)

Week 3 with Pasha
Here is Pasha sleeping on mom:
And here he is in the new Moby baby carrier: (of course you can't really see him, but he is there!)

And he loves to play in the jungle themed baby gym for a few minutes everyday:
This is an expression he often gives me. He actually raises one eyebrow as if to ask if I am crazy
Yay! Happy Pasha!
He looks a little skeptical of the giraffe here:
