Apparently the women in Igor's yoga class say this to him everyday when he shows up for yoga.
Yep, still no baby.
The good news is there WILL BE a baby on Monday one way or another. As Sunday will be a full 42 weeks, so the midwives have scheduled me for an induction Sunday morning. Unless labor starts on its own in the next 48 or so hours, we will check in Saturday night for testing and preparation and then be administered Pitocin on Sunday morning, which is certain to kick in an intense, possibly immediate labor. Though I will be continually monitored (not ideal) the UW monitors are wireless and waterproof (yay for technology!) so I can still float in the big labor tub like a manatee to help cope with the contractions.
The Labor and Delivery room is spacious with a refrigerator, dvd and cd player, so Igor and I are packing like we are going on vacation! I even get to take my own pillow, blankets and other comforts from home, though unfortunately not the cats! (I'm certain Kamikaze would be very comforting to me during labor but there are strict rules against animals in the hospital.....go figure.)
I won't lie, I'm a little nervous about this. He must be close to 8-9lbs by now and though the midwife assured me I "have a HUGE pelvis" being strapped to monitors and beginning labor at the hospital wasn't what I had in mind...
Regardless, come Monday I'll have a baby in my arms, life will have changed forever and (dear god, I hope) I will no longer weigh 200+ lbs!
So check back mid week next week for pictures, baby stats and birth story details.

good luck tomorrow!
Thinking about you, Alecia! I had a dream last night that I was holding your baby (while you were going on a bike ride) and its antennae fell off. I hope your baby doesn't have antennae! Heather
I'm seeing some other family traits here...Ben and Stephen never would have been born without pitocin and we Spooner women are all big-pelvised! :)
